2.Practical Details in Every RT Tiller

A chain drive transfers power to the blade rotor, while a manually adjustable chain mechanism allows routine adjustment. The cast-iron gearbox housing encloses the transmission gears, and the series operates with a 540 rpm PTO input.

Four blades on each blade flange work through the soil as the rotor turns. Rear side protection plates help limit sideways soil discharge. These details serve practical purposes: cultivating the ground, allowing adjustment and helping contain the soil during operation.
